CASA GUARNERA, immersed in a thick and vast citrus grove, is an ancient rural residence of nineteenth-century origin on the first foothills of the Madonie and near Cefalù, overlooking the blue sea and the charming Buonfornello plain.
It is only 50 km from Palermo and is surrounded by the countless naturalistic, cultural and historical riches of the surrounding area. The beach can be reached in just 10 minutes by car.

The farm of about nine hectares uses exclusively certified organic methods and produces citrus fruits, oil, vegetables, seasonal fruit. Environmental protection is a constant element of the entire property:
Casa Guarnera is ideal for those who love Nature, in a very well-kept, quiet place, a few kilometers from the town of Cefalù but far from the noise and frenzy. Here we can offer you the ideal well-being for those who really want to escape from the rhythm of the city and abandon many of the habits that now condition our daily lives. Respecting the Earth, avoiding waste and sharing beauty are our priorities.
The rooms are in the name of Sicilian tradition, with original furniture, naturally cool because the ancient structure designed them this way: you will not find air conditioning (except in one of the rooms) or televisions. Nature is queen. The swimming pool will welcome you with open arms with water from our centuries-old springs! The owner personally takes care of all the activities of the company.
The house, an example of lively nineteenth-century rural architecture, is renovated and equipped with all modern comforts, while strictly respecting its original character.
Lemon and orange trees that with their continuous blooms perfume the air, olive trees, banana trees, almond trees, flowering patches of geraniums and jasmine, framing the blue of the sea in the background, create a place particularly representative of the natural environment of the Sicilian coastal countryside.
The windows with grates and small terraces overlook on one side the valley that slopes towards the sea and on the other the hills silvered by olive trees and golden by orange and lemon trees.
Outside and inside the house there are common areas where you can spend your time reading, relaxing and walking. The atmosphere is made welcoming by the old fireplaces, the wood oven, the terracotta floors. The house, equipped with central heating is open all year round and thanks to a large meeting room it can also be used for conferences of small groups. The swimming pool, open in the summer months, is green to better integrate with the countryside, surrounded by lawn and has a terracotta paved area for sunbathing, shaded areas, bathrooms, showers and changing rooms.
The rooms, all equipped with private bathroom and independent entrance, are spacious double rooms with the possibility of adding beds. N.B. Currently the house does not offer catering service but independent apartments equipped with kitchen or kitchenette. It is essential that guests have their own means of transport.
